Meet the Team

Jennifer Heding-Weber - President

For over 36 years, Jenny has been working in customer service where she works as a troubleshooter, scheduler and finds time completing many other tasks. She strives to get freight delivered safely, and on time, as loyalty to the customers is a number one priority. At the end of the day, Jenny's goal is to ensure that all employees are treated with the respect that she knows they deserve.

Mark Heding - Vice President 

Trucking, simply put, is in Mark’s blood. Mark is the 3rd generation President of Heding and has performed numerous duties including truck driving, sales, maintenance, safety and ultimately management during his 40 years with Heding. Mark is semi-retired, however is still active in day-to-day operations in the business.

Lucas Penshorn
Chief Operating Officer

Lucas joined Heding in 2017 and is the great-grandson of our Founder Harry W. Heding. He is responsible for overseeing our day-to-day operations, working directly with each department, as well as our valued Professional Drivers, on a daily basis.

 

Prior to Your Town, Lucas was a Financial Planner where he assisted clients with all of their retirement planning needs, while holding various licenses and certificates. Lucas also served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard where he held several leadership positions. Always wanting to learn new things, he enjoys staying up to date on current trends in the trucking and logistics industry and all things technology.

Fay Urban
Safety Director

As our Director of Safety, Fay ensures that the company and our Drivers are compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. This includes crashes, drug and alcohol compliance, electronic logging devices (ELD) regulations, driver qualifications, compliance and onboarding of new Drivers.

 

Fay is a Certified Director and Supervisor of Safety through the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI).

Cheryl Scheeter
Treasurer

Cheryl oversees the company's financials, Accounts Payable, IFTA Reporting and Insurances at Your Town. 

 

Cheryl attended and graduated from UW- Stout and has completed 20+ years in her field. She does well at forming budgets and plans for the business and is also very positive and professional.

Sara Gorn
Secretary & Accounts Receivable

Sara has been a member of the Your Town team since 2000, working in the Accounts Receivable and Claims Department. After graduating High School, she attended WWTC and completed their Accounting and Administrative program.

 

In 2018 Sara was nominated for the company's Secretary position where she maintains the corporate records and prepares minutes of board meetings.

Angie Nachtigal
Lead Dispatcher

For over 35 years, Angie has worked on the Your Town dispatch team. As Lead Dispatcher, Angie coordinates loads and works directly with our Drivers to ensure that our customers freight arrives on time and in a safe manner. She strives to stay diligent and ensures our operations run in an efficient manner.

 

Angie graduated from WWTC in La Crosse, WI where she completed a degree in finance.

Rick Field
Dispatcher & Inbound Load Coordinator

Rick works in our Dispatch office where he works with freight brokers and dispatches our company Drivers. Rick joined the Your Town Dispatch team over 20 years ago prior to working in our Shop for over 12 years prior.

Karla Riffey
Customer Service & Dispatcher

Karla has been working in Customer Service and Dispatch for over 15 years. At Your Town, Karla works directly with Customers by accepting and setting up loads and dispatches Drivers when needed. Fellow colleagues describe Karla as dedicated, efficient and positive as she strives to do her best each and every day.
